Methionine is an amino acid used primarily in animal feed and poultry feed in particular. It comes in two forms for animal feed: as a powder and as a liquid analog. It is chiefly used as a poultry feed additive.
The deadline to file a claim under the settlements was November 30, 2010. The administration of the settlements has concluded and all claims have been paid.
