Mariana Peres Toledo

Mariana Peres Toledo is an associate lawyer with the personal injury department. Mariana summered and articled at Siskinds, where she developed a passion for litigation. She is committed to assisting personal injury clients to navigate through challenging times.

Originally from Brazil, Mariana immigrated to Canada in 2012. In 2015 she graduated with high distinction and won the Senate Medal in economics at Carleton University. While studying law at McGill University she was an associate managing editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law as well as a teaching and research assistant in three tax law courses.

As an immigrant, Mariana is naturally very interested in learning about cultures. She does have a particular interest in learning new cuisines—and admits to being a foodie. Outside of work, Mariana is a budding triathlete.
