About

Jordyn is an associate practicing in the areas of class actions and medical negligence litigation.

She summered and articled with Siskinds prior to her call to the Bar in 2023.

Jordyn has a strong interest in health law. Prior to entering law school, Jordyn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Windsor, where she graduated with Great Distinction and made the President’s Honour Roll. As a nursing student, Jordyn worked in the legal affairs and patient relations department of an acute care setting. She also was a Research Assistant for a study investigating palliative care and Medical Assistance in Dying. While pursuing her legal education at Western Law, Jordyn worked as a Registered Nurse in infection control/health records and as part of a mass vaccination centre during the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out. Jordyn was actively involved in the student legal clinic and projects with Pro Bono Students Canada. She won first place in the 2020 Legate Medical Malpractice Moot.

Jordyn enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and spending time with her family and schnoodle, Lando.

Jordyn addresses Siskinds LLP's proposed class action lawsuit against Novo Nordisk, the manufacturer of Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy, and individuals affected by Ozempic's side effects.
  • March 27, 2025 - AFR Magazine, "How Ozempic and other GLP-1s are transforming much more than just waistlines," written by Euan Black, Eugenie Kelly, Lauren Sams, Matthew Drummond, Maxim Boon, Michael Smith, Rachael Bolton and Sam Bennett. Jordyn addresses the responsibility of drug manufacturers to stay informed about the science and experiences of individuals on GLP-1 medications once they are on the market, and the scale of a class action like this.
