The Ministry of the Environment is proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 73/94 (General) and Ontario Regulation 681/94 (Classification of Proposals for Instruments) made under the Environmental Bill of Rights , 1993. The proposed amendments to O. Reg. 73/94 would, if made, provide that provisions in Part II of the EBR related to public consultation would apply to the Ministry of Education. The proposed amendments would also prescribe parts of the Water Opportunities Act, 2010, remove references to the (now repealed) Waste Management Act, 1992, update references to the Building Code regulation made under the Building Code Act, 1992, and update ministry names to the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.de under the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993 (EBR). The proposed amendments for O.Reg. 681/94 (Classification of Proposals for Instruments) will update references to regulation numbers under the Ontario Building Code.
