For over four months after my father died, my sister/co-executor disputed many things about the settlement of my father's will. Many of her arguments were not even relevant to my father's will, which was very straightforward. She took a totally unreasonable position and would not agree to the statement of attorney accounts which I had prepared as a power of attorney. My daughter and I were in a serious accident when another driver turned into our lane of traffic. I was fortunate enough to have a lawyer give me the name of Emily Foreman at Siskinds. Making the appointment to go and see Emily Foreman was one of the best decisions I have ever made, for both my daughter's health and my health. These are a few personal thoughts of my perspective from working with Jim Mays. I was injured when a driver turned left in front of me. I was riding a motorcycle to work, so I suffered several broken bones and a brain injury. Jim is a very thoughtful and considerate man who took my personnel situation into full consideration. He has a very personable nature and a family oriented lifestyle. This allowed the comfort I needed to build our relationship continued friendship. His diligent and stern professional work ethic is impressive and when needed applied gracefully!
