Anti-wind protesters will be massing at Queens Park next week, to protest against the  Green Energy Act and its expedited approvals for wind energy projects. Meanwhile, government staffers are moving ahead with wind energy approvals.  The Approvals Branch is working hard to process wind energy applications. The Environmental Review Tribunal will shortly be releasing its draft rules for getting wind energy appeals heard and decided on time. The Tribunal expects to start receiving appeals from wind energy project approvals later this spring, and all participants in their hearings will have to be ready for a whirlwind pace.
